Greetings,
I want to encourage all of you Cedarcreek men to sign-up and attend the upcoming “No Regrets” men’s conference next Saturday Feb 2nd from 8:30am – 4pm. If you are young or old, this conference is for you! One thing that I have felt proud about at Cedarcreek is that we have challenged our men to step up and take the mantel of their God given role to lead in their lives and families. We have many men strongly and lovingly leading out in their families, the church and the community. We can all grow in this God-given role. This conference will help us do that. By investing a precious Saturday, you will be saying, “I take my role seriously and I want to grow”. Plan on coming!
This Sunday, January 27th, at 9am and 10:45am, Pastor Rob will continue our series in the Book of Thessalonians. He will be dealing with the topic of opposition to the gospel. When you and I are bold at communicating God’s message, we get push-back. This can be unsettling. But it is the nature of the battle that we are in. God in His wisdom is carrying out a marvelous plan to bring people out the kingdom of this world and transfer them to the kingdom of His Beloved Son – Jesus Christ. God has many enemies who are trying to hinder this wonderful work. We need to be alert to this battle and not shrink back in fear when we encounter resistance.
