12-09-12 Deacon Jason Kanz – Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Dear Cedarcreeker,

Are you “naughty or nice”, as asked by the song “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”? This Sunday December 9th at 9am & 10:45am Jason Kanz will be addressing that question. He will be sharing on how Christ is so much better than Santa Claus. So often, Christians view God like they view Santa Claus. If they do enough good stuff, they get themselves on the nice list, but if they are misbehaved, they belong on the naughty list. Because of the fall, we are all on the naughty list and the only answer for that is Christ. Because of Christ’s coming to earth and dying for our sins, we are offered an opportunity to be saved. In other words, the two lists are not naughty or nice but naughty or Christ. I hope that you will join us!
