Greetings from Berlin, Germany! I have heard that spring has not yet come to the Midwest while I have been gone. It is not much better here but it looks like it will be 65 and sunny tomorrow and then when I fly back on Monday it will reach 70. It is coming!
I have been going for prayer walks around a lake called Weisensee. I saw a beautiful sight a few days ago. In the rain, a mated pair of white swans was building a nest together. I stopped to watch them and observed how well they worked together. They were both cutting / pulling three foot reeds out of the shore. One would pass them over their back to the other who would lay them down to form the nest. It reminded me how God designed teamwork into nature so that our tasks would be lighter and more enjoyable. Marriage and the Church will not work without cooperation and teamwork; working in harmony together.
