Greetings,

This Sunday, Rob will be teaching on the topic of “Prayerful Dependence” in our series entitled “Transformational Church”. In healthy churches, there is a spirit of dependence on God. It is not just all church prayer meetings that show this mindset. Prayer is not a program, but is instead woven throughout the church structure and relationships. People pray together when they meet. Prayer is an important part of small group meetings.

If you want to prepare your heart for this week’s message read Psalm 116:1-2

• How can we know that God hears us when we pray?
• How often do you pray when meeting with a fellow believer?
• What might help you to remember to pray with them before leaving?

Don’t forget, this Sunday following the second service is the “Cedarcreek Fall Bash”. We will feed everyone who stays for lunch. There will be games for the kids and adults. If you come to the first service why don’t you run any errands you might have and come back for lunch? The forecast is not great but we could use the rain. It won’t dampen our spirits and we will move indoors in that case. I hope that you will join us!
