02-19-12 Pastor Dave Lennander – Commitment

I am excited to begin a new series on this coming Sunday. For four weeks, we will take a close look at the Book of Ruth. There are very few good examples of marriages in the Scriptures. The Book of Ruth has as a sub-theme, a wonderful story of romance and marriage of two very different people – Ruth and Boaz. God uses them as ancestors to our Lord Jesus Christ. We will look at the story of how God brought them together and make some points as to How Love Grows in Marriage. This week we will look at how Commitment is at the heart and foundation of marriage. I encourage you to take some time before Sunday and read through the Book in one sitting. It only has four chapters.
